2016 Harvest Begins in Late October

Beginning September/October, Long Ridge Farms will be looking for seasonal workers to harvest Christmas trees for its commercial division. Daily tasks include cutting, moving, baling, loading and unloading hundreds of trees. Work begins in late October and continues through late November.

Full days are required, seven days a week rain or shine (not ideal for students with daytime classes). Contracted workers must provide their own transportation and be able to drive to several farms located in Watauga, Avery and Johnson counties.
